  強調主語: 強調賓語: It was Mary who(whom ) I met at the railway station yesterday morning. 強調時間狀語: It was yesterday morning that I met Mary at the railway station.

  強調地點狀語: It was at the railway station that I met Mary yesterday morning.

  2. It 強調句型的一般疑問句型的構成: Is /was + it + 所強調成分 + that/who/whom…..?

  e.g It was Mary who(whom ) I met at the railway station yesterday morning.

  Was it Mary who(whom ) I met at the railway station yesterday morning?

  It 強調句型的特殊疑問句型構成: 疑問詞 + is/was/ +it that(who/whom)…….?

  Whom was it that I met at the railway station yesterday morning?

  3. 當我們要特別強調謂語(動詞)時,表達確實、的確、真正、務必的意思是應用助動詞do/does/did+V原形的基本形式。

  e.g You do look pretty today.

  The sun does rise in the east. I did see Mr Smith in the park just now.

  I saw Mr Smith in the park just now.

  4.其他強調句型: 1) 用ever,never,very,just等副詞和badly, highly, really等帶有—ly 的副詞來進行強調:

  e.g Why ever did you do so? 你究竟為什么要這樣做? He never said a word the whole day. 一整天,他一句話也沒有說。

  This is just what I wanted. 這正是我所要的。 He was badly wounded. 他傷得很嚴重。 2)用到裝句(也就是將要強調的句子或被強調的部分置于句首)來加強語氣:

  Many a time have I climbed the Dragon Hill.
