教材分析
本單元主要學習日期的表達方式。并在上一單元學習了數詞的基礎上學習序數詞1-31。通過圍繞生日進行互相問答式的討論,掌握英語表達年,月,日的單詞和句型,能夠熟練地談論各種有關日期的話題,詢問表達年齡的句型以及詢問節日的表達法以及能夠熟練運用名詞所有格形式。
單元總體目標
本單元通過學習使用When is ?引導的問句以及回答,教會學生如何合理的安排自己的作息時間,做時間的主人。

1、知識目標:
詞匯:when, birthday, months (January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, November, December), 1st 一 31st , date, happy, happy birthday!

五、總結反思:
基數詞變序數詞,我們可以通過一個口訣來記憶其規律
基變序,有規律,第一、二、三單獨記。-th 要從四加起,八去t來九去e。遇到ve, f替,-ty變為tie,后跟-th莫遲疑。若想表示幾十幾,只變個位就可以。

【學習過程】
一、自主學習
1、知識海洋:birthday是由birth和day合成的單詞。在英語構詞法中稱為合成詞。類似的合成詞還有:afternoon下午;backpack 雙肩背包;basketball籃球;classroom教室;grandfather祖父; homework 家庭作業;notebook 筆記本。
How old? 意為幾歲了(多大了)?,是對年齡提問的特殊疑問句,其句型是:How old + be+主語?, 答句常用句型主語+be+基數詞+year(s)/months old表示,也可以直接說出年齡。如:
How old is your mother? 你的母親多大年齡了?
He is fifty (years old). 他五十歲了。
How old is little Tom? 小,湯姆多大了?
He is only eight months old. 他才八個月。
注意:在英美國家一般不能向成年人詢問年齡,尤其是女性,否則被視為不禮貌會令對方尷尬。
